He joined in August 2022 as the group's vocalist with their 5th EP, "History of Kingdom: Part V. Louis". The group debuted in February 2021, but when member Kook Seung Joon (previously known as Chiwoo) left the group, the agency decided to add a new member to keep the group's concept based on seven members.
In April 2024, GF Entertainment (GF 엔터테인먼트) announced the group would rebrand as THE KINGDOM ahead of their 8th EP, "Realize".
In October 2024, he was placed on hiatus due to health reasons. However, many rumors began circulating about him dating secretly, ghosting an ex-girlfriend after having intimate relationships with her, and working at a host bar. In January 2025, GF Entertainment confirmed his departure from the group, still claiming personal reasons.
