As a result of the backlash against him, his contract with GMMTV (จีเอ็มเอ็มทีวี) was terminated, jobs cancelled and Exemplary Thai of the Year award rescinded. Later that month, he ordained as monk for the second time in six years. After mediation in court, Nott agreed to pay the victim 180,000 baht to correct the damage to the other party's nose.
