In July 2023, she entered the singing survival competition "A2K (America2Korea)" co-produced by South Korean agency JYP Entertainment (JYP엔터테인먼트) and American agency Republic Records. The show was held entirely online, and the participants trained at JYP in Seoul with the hope of debuting in the United States. She finished in 4th place and earned a spot in the resulting project group.
In September 2023, they released the pre-debut digital single "SeVit (New Light)" and she made her official debut in January 2024 as VCHA (비차)'s vocalist, dance leader and rapper with the digital single "Girls of the Year".
However, in March 2024, member Kaylee took a break due to an unspecified health condition, and in December of that year, member KG filed a lawsuit against JYP and opted to leave the group. As a result, they went on an indefinite hiatus.
The legal issues were solved in August 2025, and the group re-branded as GIRLSET, re-debuting with the digital single, "Commas".
