She made her debut as a theater actress in 1985 but transitioned to TV in the early 90s when she became the 6th host of the children's show "Popopo" (뽀뽀뽀) and had her acting debut in the 1990 movie "Rooster" (수탉).
She also wrote three books on cooking and housekeeping acted in a few dramas and earned spots in commercial advertisements.
She began hosting a short radio segment on MBC FM in 1989 which became a formal hosting job in 1995 when she became the co-DJ of "Radio Era", spending 27 years as one of the co-hosts.
She now hosts a talk show/shopping show in Lotte Home Shopping.
