In 2016, he joined the band HARD SUGAR (하드슈가) but decided to join CRACK SHOT in 2018 when one of his professors recommended him to switch bands. CRACK SHOT had debuted in 2015 but their bassist decided to leave in late 2017, so he joined as the new bassist and maknae.
The band decided to enter the show "Super Band 2" in 2021, ending up as the winners. The 4 members were joined by Oh Eun Chul during the competition and used the name CRAXILVER. After the show, they were supposed to permanently change the band name but so far have not done so. They perform as CRACK SHOT when Oh can not join them and as CRAXILVER when he does.
