Gacha got his breakthrough role as an actor with the leading role in the 1956 film "Phrai Kwang" ( ไพรกว้าง). Afterwards, he was selected by Prince Bhanubandhu Yugala to play King Naresuan the Great in "Naruesan the Great" (นเรศวรมหาราช). Before filming began, however, he was arrested and charged as a threat to society at the end of Field Marshal Plaek Phibunsongkhram's government and imprisoned for years. The role was given to Chuchai Phrakhanchai instead.
After his release from imprisonment, Gacha worked in a stone mill in his home province. Sometime later, he was approached by famous film producer Prinya Thatsaniyakul to play the chief villain in the 1967 film "Operation Bangkok" (เพชรตัดเพชร). In 2009, he gave his last performance in "Phobia 2" (ห้าแพร่ง) after previously retiring in 1987.
After being diagnosed with COVID-19 and admitted to hospital on July 14, 2021, he was reportedly convalescing when he passed away suddenly of old age on Wednesday, July 28, 2021. He was ninety-five years old.
