Okada Masaru
- Name: Okada Masaru
- Native name: 岡田勝
- Also Known as: おかだ まさる
- Nationality: Japanese
- Gender: Male
- Born: May 8, 1950
- Age: 76
After dropping out of high school, Okada joined the Japan Television Training School (日本テレビ養成所), where he met Ono Kotaro (大野幸太郎), the founder of the Ono Kenyukai, who was teaching swordsmanship there. Although Okada initially declined Ono's offer to join the group, he became an official disciple of the Ono Kenyukai in 1967.
In 1972, Okada stepped in as a sword-fighting instructor during location shooting in Kusatsu Onsen after Takahashi Kazutoshi (高橋一俊), the swordmaster for Kamen Rider, injured both feet. This marked his debut as a sword-fighting instructor.
In 1980, after Ono Kotaro retired and became chairman of the Ono Kenyukai, Okada succeeded him as the group's second representative. He incorporated the organization as "Ono Kenyukai Action Studio" (大野剣友会アクションスタジオ) in 1985 and became its CEO, continuing his work as an instructor and action coordinator.
