Before debuting, he spent two and a half years as a trainee at Pledis Entertainment before switching agencies. In May 2025, he entered the survival competition "Boys Planet II" where he finished in 7th place and secured a spot in the resulting project group. They released the pre-debut single, "Formula", in December 2025.
He officially debuted as ALPHA DRIVE ONE's maknae in January 2026 with their first mini-album, "Euphoria". The group is managed by Wakeone (웨이크원) and the initial contract is for 5 years.
