In May 2022, he made his debut as a member of Keystone Entertainment's "BLANK2Y" under the stage name "U" with the mini album "K2Y I: Confidence [Thumbs Up]". In June 2023, he terminated his contract with Keystone Entertainment and later signed with DS Entertainment in August 2023, where he was set to debut in their pre-debut group "DV.OL", but their disbandment was announced in July 2024 after having been inactive since January 2024.
In June 2025, he entered the Mnet survival show "Boys II Planet" as an individual trainee but was eliminated in the 10th episode. Then, in October 2025, he entered Boys II Planet's spin-off survival show "Planet C: Home Race" where he ranked 1st place, earning him a spot in the resulting debut group "MODYSSEY".
He made his debut in April 2026 with the mini album "1. Got Hooked: An Addictive Symphony".
