Pan Xin Yi was a Chinese actress born in Anhui, China, who graduated from Beijing Film Academy.

In 2002, she made her acting debut by appearing in her first television series, "The Story of a Noble Family".

On February 20, 2009, she passed away due to slipping and falling at home, accidentally breaking a fish tank. The broken glass cut her throat, causing massive bleeding, and she ultimately passed away despite rescue efforts.
