Matt Evans is a Filipino actor of American descent. He was born to his father, Thalmage Eugene Evans, an American citizen, and his mother, Vivien Mercado Nicolas, a Filipino. He has two half-siblings: Mark, who is fully Filipino, and Akira, who is half-Japanese. He studied college at Far Eastern University, Manila.

He was a contender for the reality show "Pinoy Big Brother: Teen Edition 1". He rose to fame through the teleserye "Komiks Presents: Da Adventures of Pedro Penduko". He was a part of ABS-CBN's Star Magic contract artists until 2017. In September 2017, he moved to GMA Network.

He has a daughter with former partner Johnelline Hickins. On October 3, 2013, Evans married Katrina Fariñas, who belongs to a prominent political family in the Philippines, the Fariñas Family of Ilocos Norte. In 2014, they welcomed their first child, Hayley Marley. Evans also adopted Fariñas' son from a previous relationship, thus the child is now using the name Hayden Tyler Fariñas Evans. In 2015, Evans announced that they are expecting "baby Evans #3", Ellie Madison, who would be Fariñas' and Evans' second child together. Edit Biography
