Lou Salvador Jr. was a Filipino actor dubbed the "James Dean of the Philippines". He was born to film producer Lou Salvador, who first gained notoriety as a basketball player. Salvador, Jr. began acting in his father's films in the 1950s. He became popular in teen rebel movies. Salvador, Jr. retired from acting sometime after appearing in "Manila in the Claws of Light" (1975). He later moved to Las Vegas, Nevada and died in 2008 from lung cancer. Edit Biography
