He made his debut in August 2016 as MASC's rapper and dancer with their first EP, "Strange". However, the group underwent several controversies and lineup changes, with new members being added in 2017 and even allegations of physical violence between them. The agency, J Planet Entertainment (제이플래닛엔터테인먼트, formerly known as JJ Holic Media and Isam Media) struggled to control the situation, and the group nearly halted activities in early 2018.
On July 2018, he announced his departure of MASC to focus on film directing. Since then, he has been a choreographer of former street dancers, has also directed Veloce’s MVs, indie films, commercials and web-dramas.
He is currently the director of the media creation company DIPHIN (다이핀).
