Joyce Chu, born and raised in Johor Bahru, is a Malaysian singer and songwriter who rose to fame after her song, "Malaysia Chabor" gained more than 10 million views on YouTube, and her song "I Miss You" gained attention. Joyce graduated from Si Ling Secondary School in Singapore but discontinued her studies after her GCE 'O' Level examination to focus on her online career. She participated in the Chinese Survival Program “Chuang 2020” where she became a finalist, placing 9th overall.
