She made her debut in July 2013 (using the stage name Chae Eun) as TURAN's vocalist and maknae with their first digital single, "Shotgun". However, the group was not successful and faced constant lineup changes without any official announcements from the agency, StarPro Entertainment (스타프로엔터테인먼트). In October of that year, she stopped appearing in group activities, and it was later confirmed that 5 out of the 7 original members (including her) were dropped by the company and replaced by new members.
She switched agencies and re-debuted in June 2016 (now using the stage name Suyeon) as A.DE's leader and lead vocalist with their first single, "Strawberry". They were managed by 2Able Company (투에이블 컴퍼니) but were never able to establish themselves in the entertainment industry. The group went on an indefinite hiatus in April 2018, and it is assumed they quietly disbanded shortly after.
While some of the members opted to remain part of the company until their contracts expired in 2023, she decided to pay a penalty to terminate her contract with 2Able and left right after the group went on hiatus.
In 2021, she began running a small restaurant with her parents, and while she still dreams of returning to the entertainment industry, she has not received any opportunity so far.
