Before debuting, he trained for 4 years at MMO Entertainment and participated in the survival reality show "Produce 101 Season 2" but was eliminated in the earlier episodes. He then left MMO and tried to join a Japanese company, but was not able to due to visa complications, until Choi Won Ho (known professionally as Bon) convinced him to join him at Chrome Entertainment (크롬엔터테인먼트).
He made his debut in June 2019 as the group's rapper and vocalist with their first digital single, "Question". They are managed by Chrome but have had very limited opportunities to promote since their debut. The last material they released was their mini-album, "Outlaw", in 2023.
He enlisted for his mandatory military service on March 24, 2022, and was discharged on December 23, 2023.
