In early 2019, he entered as a contestant in JTBC's "Superband". He joined Kevin Oh, Lee Jong Hoon, and another musician during the team mission and formed the band AFTERMOON, which ended in 5th place.
After the show, he made his debut in August 2019 as DOCTORS's drummer with the single album "It's Science!". However, he kept in touch with Kevin Oh, who kept trying to convince him to keep playing together as AFTERMOON.
He spent several months thinking and ultimately decided to leave DOCTORS and re-debuted in November 2019 as AFTERMOON's drummer with the single "I Want It All".
He made his debut as a solo artist in May 2020 with the album "Awake".
He enlisted for his mandatory military service on April 29, 2021, and was discharged on April 27, 2023.
