Xu Ruoqiao (Veegee), formerly known as Xu Wenjie, was born in Shanghai on June 3, 1999. She is a pop singer and actress in Mainland China and a member of the female singing group SIS. She liked music since she was a child and became interested in music creation when she was 9 years old. After junior high school, she was admitted to the High School Affiliated to the Shanghai Theatre Academy, where she served as an art representative and committee member during the school. In 2014, Xu Ruoqiao participated in the Shanghai Station of the Global Selection Conference organized by Unleash Entertainment, and was discovered by UNLSH founders Deng Zhiwei and Zhuang Dongxin, who immediately gave her a brokerage and recording contract and to become their artist.
