He joined rapper and hip-hop artist Kush and formed the duo STONY SKUNK in 2002. They performed in underground clubs before signing with YG Entertainment. They made their official debut in 2003 with their first album, "Best Seller". The pair enjoyed some success but had to disband in early 2008 when he enlisted for his mandatory military service.
After serving, he spent time collaborating with Ha Dong Hoon (known professionally as Haha). As their singles were quite popular, they decided to officially debut as HAHA & SKULL with their first EP, "Ya Man!!" in July 2012. They rebranded as RPG sometime around 2018.
As Haha began appearing as a regular member of several variety shows and became an entertainer and TV personality, the duo has not released much material since 2019.
He is represented by Sajah Records (사자레코드) for his individual activities and by QUAN Entertainment (콴엔터테인먼트) for RPG's activities.
