Tsushima Toshiaki was a Japanese composer born in Okayama Prefecture. He graduated from Ehime Prefectural Niihama Technical High School, Department of Electrical Engineering. He moved to Tokyo and took the entrance examination for the Tokyo Institute of Technology, but he failed and entered the Department of Music Theory, Nihon University College of Art. He had no intention of aspiring to music and went to Yoyogi prep school after passing. He suffered from jaundice during the summer vacation and was fighting illness until the spring of the following year, so he abandoned the entrance examination for the technical college.

He died of aspiration pneumonia on November 25, 2013. He died 77 years old. Edit Biography
