Bai Jing
- Name: Bai Jing
- Native name: 白静
- Nationality: Chinese
- Gender: Female
- Born: July 4, 1983
- Died: February 28, 2012
With her training background in Wing Chun since her childhood days, Bai performed well in her role in the 2010 movie "Kung Fu Wing Chun". Due to her outstanding performance, Bai was accepted as a disciple by Ip Man's son Ye Zhun, and the apprenticeship ceremony was held at the 19th Golden Rooster and Hundred Flowers Film Festival. In 2011, Bai won the 13th China Film Performance Society Golden Phoenix Award. Her popularity soared higher but was short-lived.
In 2004, 39-year-old Zhou Cheng Hai met junior student Bai Jing through a drama director and was quickly attracted to her. In 2006, he divorced his wife in order to woo Bai despite strong opposition from his mother, family and friends. He invested heavily in helping her development in an acting career. In March 2008, Zhou and Bai registered their marriage. In 2009, both became acquainted with fitness coach Qiao Yu while working out at the gym. It was reported that after their wedding banquet in 2010, Bai had an extramarital affair with Qiao. They then conspired and schemed to defraud Zhou. Qiao also designed and filmed Zhou soliciting prostitutes to be used as a basis for Bai to demand divorce and division of property. After Bai's cheating with Qiao was exposed, Bai met Zhou's mother at the hospital to persuade her son to forgive Qiao and told her about her intention to divorce. Zhou's mother suffered a heart attack and died that day.
On 28 February 2012, devastated Zhou met Bai on the pretext of divorce negotiations and stabbed her three times before taking his own life. In March 2015, Qiao Yu was sentenced to 11 years in jail in the first trial for fraud.
