Jung Jin Woo was a South Korean director.

He made his debut in the early 1960s with the film "The Only Son", becoming one of the country's youngest directors at just over 20 years of age. He was seen as one of the pioneers of the South Korean film renaissance of the 1960s. He served as the CEO of Woojin Films, owned Cinehouse Theater, and Woojin Video Productions. When the government ban was lifted in 1989, he imported many international films and released them in theaters and later on video. He remained active until the 1990s.

In December 2025, he reportedly suffered a fall while walking his dog and had been receiving treatment at Soonchunhyang University Hospital. However, he later contracted COVID-19, and his health did not recover. He passed away on February 8, 2026, at the age of 88. The funeral altar was set up at Samsung Medical Center in Gangnam.
