Gijs Blom is a Dutch actor. He graduated from the Amsterdam University of the Arts with a bachelor's degree in Theatre. He is the son of stage actress Marloes van den Heuvel.

He made his debut in 2007 with a role in the musical "Ciske de Rat". In 2011, he made his movie debut with a role in the film "Sonny Boy". He then had small roles in a few made-for-television films. His breakthrough role came at the age of 17 when he had the lead role in the critically acclaimed BL film "Jongens" ("Boys"). The film was shown at multiple international film festivals and was eventually bought by Netflix.

He also lead an international cast in "Dead & Beautiful", a co-production between the Netherlands and Taiwan which premiered in February 2021 at the International Film Festival Rotterdam.
