Zhong Bei Er (English name: Bell), born and raised in Shanghai, China, is a Chinese director. Bell earned his BA degree in philosophy at the prestigious Tsing Hua University. He's currently pursuing his Master degree in Film Production at New York University's Tisch School of the Arts and is taught by celebrated independent filmmakers such as Todd Solondz and Alex Rockwell. "Blooming Night" is his first short film.
