Pyo Hye Mi

  • Name: Pyo Hye Mi
  • Native name: 표혜미
  • Nationality: South Korean
  • Gender: Female
  • Born: April 3, 1991
  • Age: 35
Pyo Hye Mi is a South Korean singer, dancer, lyricist, musical actress and former member of 9MUSES (나인뮤지스, also stylized as NINE MUSES) and ME:US (미어스). She graduated from Daegwang Girls' High School and later obtained an associate's degree in Applied Music from Hanyang Women's University and a bachelor's degree in Political Science & Digital Contents from Sungkonghoe University.

Star Empire Entertainment (스타제국) and the company's CEO, Shin Ju Hak, wanted to introduce the concept of a rotating lineup with all the members being active in different fields. So, through Mnet's reality show "Children of the Empire", she made her debut in August 2010 as 9MUSES's main vocalist with their first single album, "Let's Have A Party".

However, they faced constant lineup changes as members were changed almost every year and were never able to fully develop a team chemistry. By June 2016, she became the sole member remaining from the original debuting lineup and was appointed as the new leader in October of that year. She also became part of the sub-unit 9MUSES A, releasing the single album, "Muses Diary".

In February 2019, Star Empire announced the disbandment of 9MUSES after the last 3 members' contracts expired.

In April 2022, she re-debuted as part of the duo ME:US (with former group mate Moon Hyun Ah) with the digital single, "Memories". Unfortunately, A Flat Entertainment declared bankruptcy some time later and the company closed in mid-2023, effectively disbanding the duo.

In November 2022, she signed with MEFLEX Entertainment (미플렉스 엔터테인먼트) and now promotes as an actress and musical actress.

In December 2023, there were conversations of a possible 9MUSES comeback but nothing has materialized since then.
