Such a mediocre drama. MDL ratings have become completely unreliable. 3–4 years ago, this drama wouldn’t have gotten over an 8. They seriously need to change their rating system because these ratings are misleading people into watching mediocre dramas.

Ye Xian in novel did more for FL, he was always helping her and ML only appears until 100th chapters. People are to cp focused can not see other characters tbh. We all critized that certain scene, but he kneeled for her like you said.

Ye Xian shows that true love transcends status and time, as he willingly waits three years because his heart is deeply tied to the one he loves.

i dont pick any cps but you guys are so boring. ye xian and fl dynamics are literally tom and jerry dynamics, not everyone has to be a cool aura-boosting ml material. yall want the same stereotypical characters and if a character doesn’t fit your agendas, suddenly they’re villains. please, not everything is white and black, some things can be gray too. you can find ye xian annoying and ackonwledged the things he is doing for fl too, two things can exist, same time. im so tired of everyone is so cp and ship focused. can we enjoy all mls and fls in this drama without yall picking a fight.

Winwin in this drama might genuinely be the most beautiful cdrama boy I’ve ever seen. Every single color styling on him looks unreal, and he carries each one so effortlessly like he was born for historical dramas. It’s actually insane how good he looks. My absolute favorite is still the mint hanfu, he looks amazing in it.

i think his character development already started, i feel like this is why we are going to watch a very very sad ending for him. just my opinion. also i love he and fl always fight with each other, except for that scene.
