Either way he'll either end up in jail, or, if he's sane enough, alone with no family.

Also, ML getting horny reading those timid book series is just double cringe. There were plenty of brothels and entertainment houses in Joseon era which he could have frequented whenever he wanted like many other married men at the time. The guy's just a prune. Him being a huge narcissist doesn't help either.

So basically, Ki Ho is Kang Bo Geol. He has found his real mother in Seoul, but stays quiet for now for some reason.
His brother is likely the adopted one, he has abandonment issues and identity issues because of his amnesia trauma. And after hearing FL's story he has started seeing similarities in everything and having a case of mistaken personality, thinking himself as Ki Ho. It doesn't help that part of the similarities are related to his new family and are true, but concern his mother and brother.
One viewer below rightfully referenced What's Wrong With Secretary Kim? - same thing happened to brothers in that drama as well. The bad things happened to ML, but his brother associated everything to himself because of his severe mental trauma due to extreme guilty conscience. And ML stayed quiet there as well, getting abused for nothing by his confused brother.

Kang Bo Geol is Ki Ho 100%. The brother has misplaced identity syndrome.
Also, if they go the tropey way it's gonna be a love triangle between FL and two brothers.

Btw, child version of Ki Ho was played by the child actor who played child version of ML there. How fast they grow...
