So you think that is possible for a soldier to leave North Korea without consequences?! 🤔
First, he's no longer a soldier at the end, but a pianist. Second, his father has big influence and connections. Nobody of his squad faced any repercussions for going to SK. And as a pianist he already comes and goes to Switzerland. I'm sure he could have made it possible for him. If not as real NK then with fake ID. Nobody will be looking to kill him or repatriate him, NK is not that savage as stereotypes go. But I guess ML is too much of a patriot and doesn't want to leave his parents. On the other hand, he was willing to put them in danger for FL. I don't like this ambivalence in ML at the end, to me it would have been better for him to go live with FL, since he loves her more than his parents apparently.
I hated that he neglected his work and what happened around him like that starting from episode 11 for her sake…
That's a weird reason to be annoyed. It's a rom-com. And ML really fell in love with FL, so everything else faded into background, especially in episode 11-12 when he still didn't know she wasn't gonna die on him. And once that was resolved and bad guys really started ganging up on him he got himself together.
Unpopular opinion, but this show is still nope fo me. The plot is too silly, predictable and cheesy, middle-aged characters continue acting like teenagers, acting is so-so. I'm gonna finish this since I don't drop dramas once I've started, but I'm glad it's only 12 episodes. There is a much better ongoing one with similar supernatural twist called Link: Eat, Love, Kill.
I just watched ep 1 and I’m so confused. Why did the mom and grandma hide the body in the fridge instead of…
Self-defense that leads to murder would have been very difficult to prove. I've seen another k-drama where there was such a case where a wife killed her husband while he was beating her senseless and everyone from prosecution to lawyers weren't hopeful for her, because in all such previous cases it was deemed unreasonable self-defense and women were found guilty of murder. FL's mother and grandmother seemed to have an experience such as this from earlier time. I think they killed FL's father who was beating FL's mother and stashed his body similarly.
What if Lee Eun Jung is actually Eun Gye Young?1. It appears that she can feel her younger brother. When Lee Jin…
I dunno, that'd be too soapy. Her relationship with her brother is kinda weird, but they're both possessive weirdos. Also, she looks nothing like that photorobot picture. If anything, that female police officer looks more like ML's sister than that crazy woman.
Yea, yea. Everyone in the world has the right to produce historical movies and shows only about their own countries with indigenous clothes, doesn't matter if it's pseudohistory or fantasy. USA, by that logic, can't even wear their own historical clothes because their fashion came from Europe, and only indigenous Americans can wear American Indian clothes, so you better cast indigenous actors! And god forbid, Hollywood, you want to make a movie about European vikings like Northman, or fantasy with a mix of Asian folklore like Shang-Chi. It is not your culture, you stole it, you rascals, and it should be banned outright everywhere and downwvoted into oblivion! Also, while we're at it, all contemporary c-dramas should drop western clothing and make everyone wear traditional Chinese clothes, that would be the proper way of things. Jeez...🤦‍♂️How dumb are you, people? Get a reality check. Just enjoy the show, score it fairly for what it is, people worked really hard on it.
We have shown in flashback that The four families all involved in the killing of Naksu's family when she was a…
Dunno about the soul. With no body, will Naksu be ok in her new body, or will turn to stone eventually due to lack of energy? Or was it only if bodies are incompatible? Blind girl's soul may still be inside her body like it was in Mr. Queen, or is dead.
It's being score bombed by crazy c-drama fans, thinking that China has an exclusive right to produce dramas of this sort of genre. So don't mind the score, this drama is actually great so far.
What's up with the rating? This drama is too good to be 6.8 (rating)I'm honestly loving this drama so far and…

Don't mind the ratings , the drama is very good that's why people are surprised by the ratings.

I'm only half way through episode 5 so this might all get disproved in the next 30 minutes. But I'm thinking the…
Yea, that's also possible, if sketchy. Maybe it was an accident and neighbours witnessed it, so they covered it up to not ruin kid's life, or maybe his father convinced them to stay silent and took the blame. But it's kinda dumb even if you don't trust the law. The kid was still very young, he wouldn't even be prosecuted at that age. Still, I've seen even dumber things in k-dramas...

But one of the four families called Jin, the matriarchal one with heirlooms, is missing their eldest daughter and is still looking for her. Source here:

Maybe Naksu or the blind girl is her and there was some power struggle story as per usual in historical dramas.
