If you started watching mainly for romance, then check genres tags again, it's not a soap, but a historical detective drama.
There is romance here, but it takes quite a while to get aknowledged by the leads, somewhere around episode 23.

The only controversial thing here is that somebody decided to post an article about this dumb obsessive nonsense.
Nobody cares here about how those sick Asian netizens scrutinize actors under a microscope and stalk their private lives.
Just post actual news about new dramas.

He played ML in Crazy Love in 2022. He was great there. I've read he picks roles that are fun to play, he's not working simply for the money.

Yea, they don't even seem to know large paper shredders exist, not to mention other ways to destroy tons of paper. Poor ML was shredding one sheet at a time.

I’d watch this even solely for SML turning on his “boss” mode. He was awesome in Crazy Love.
But the leads are doing great as well, it’s hilarious.

The only downside that breaks immersion is what they make audit division do in this drama, which is everything - HR, security, audit, morality police, illegal nosing about in workers’ private affairs…Whoever wrote this seems to have never worked in a corporate office. Because of all this immediately -2 score.

It's like a webtoon reversal. Usually it's modern age FLs who get transmigrated to the past with all their modern science and history knowledge intact that allows them to wow everybody with their smarts.
Here's it's the other way around, FL is from Joseon era and doesn't know s*it about anything in modern era. And it looks hilarious in the trailers.

Coincidences and luck where exactly? Most of the killers here were actively on a killing spree for revenge and weren't some criminal masterminds to begin with. So they simply eventually were found out and got caught, that's not luck or coincidence. The leads here are also very smart and experienced, they know what and where to look for to quickly find clues.

The main plot is very well thought out, but you'll notice even more if you watch a second time and gotta know the context to appreciate the logic behind it.

I appreciate you giving a fair score to Coroner's Diary, btw. That one is overrated af on MDL and somehow is set as an example to follow here.

I did finish it, and understood everything. This type of drama is simply not my cup of tea. Too much exagerrated bs, squabbles over money and power, and very blunt feminist messages.

You should really know better. MDL has top ratings only for soaps with baby faced idols.

I think FL is very cunning and she does things not because of what it seems on the surface. It’s just we haven’t seen her pov yet.

Tbh, all of the above including private affairs is not audit's work, but HR.

The way audit is presented in kdramas is an old meme at this point. The new utterly ridiculous thing they’ve added here is spying on workers’ private affairs. Gotta close your eyes on it to enjoy the comedy.

The score is bs (also, who gives scores after 1 episode?), this is very fun.
