The only character I don't like here is that idiot CEO. Completely unrealistic character and not in a funny way. He's an adult, but is still living under mom's bootheel so much he acts like he's been born just yesterday, or been living like a monk in a cave all his life. Never encountering any sort of sexual content online, or thinking any sort of sexual thoughts or dreams in his age just spells there's something wrong with him. But on the other hand he knows how to write hundreds of braindead horrendous comments like a terminally online basement dweller. Which is even more inconsistent with his well manned, well educated high society chaebol scion image. It looks like he got warped here from some Joseon period drama where he was an austere scholar or something. Like that ML from The Forbidden Marriage, for example.
So what's the consensus on the blackmailer man? Who sent him to ML? ML's father? He's looking to change his legitimate idiot son for illegitimate one? Also, what sort of fcked up mother is ML's mother to ditch him like that and where did she find the same sort of fcked up Chirstian pastor who wouldn't accept her child?
Thanks, I think I'm gonna drop it for now. And FL has cancer that returned? Call me a cynic, but I don't believe in happy endings when it comes to cancer. This show just got super depressing as well.
Just started episode 7 and FL's cheating ex just popped out of nowhere, like of course he would. I just don't have patience for dumb love triangles lately. Is he annoying, guys?
I don't know how it's in Korea, but in my country if someone gets married the traditional way following all the…
Same in my country. You can stage wedding ceremonies in venues or churches, but you still gotta register it in the city hall's registry office. As for same sex marriages, in my country you can now even register partner relationship between two grandmas if you want, with all the same legal bindings. It's been done to help lonely people to help each other, especially seniors.
In order to establish a common law marriage in South Korea all you need to do is: 1. Publicly announce the relationship…
🤔 Yea, but what if they want a divorce? Without registration there's no proof and when it comes to the division of assets it starts to get serious. In other countries you gotta register marriage to be eligible for half the assets earned while living with a spouse and in some countries for kids to be deemed legitimate. Without documents fraud's gonna be rampant.
I am confused at one thing, so she wants the fake marriage bcz of the less benefits singles have at the company,…
Yea, the company would likely ask for documents to provide her with those benefits. otherwise everybody would say they're married and women would flock to those prohibited positions close to CEOs. If not then this drama's writers are dumb.
I'd like to watch it, but the age difference actually bothers me a lot. I don't know if I'm being unreasonable…
It's not unreasonable. Everybody dances around the issue, but societal dogmas aside, it's just nature. Men being older than women looks more ok than women being older than men in a relationship because of both sexes reproductive age - late childbearing often is wrought with complications so men look for younger, healthier and generally more good looking women to have a family. Men's reproductive age lasts a whole lot longer though and their looks generally are not under such scrutiny as women's. Societal dogmas just reinforce this fact.
In this drama the age gap is unknown, but considering ML was one of FL mom's foster kids the difference can't be those whooping 12 years. There was some boy among the kids, but their gap looked negligible tbh. Maybe it was another boy, or maybe the gap is not that big.

EDIT: Here, their ages are on the left:

If it's in Korean age you can substract 1 more year.
