SML is better off as single and ML should simply leave the country to go find peace.

Say what but my biggest gripe with Eun Jin is her lack of chemistry with male leads when it comes to rom coms be it this one or Dynamite kiss. Even the affection scenes looks awkward instead of heart fluttering.

The last time she had a really good one was My Dearest / Good Bad Mother and both were high on melodrama and yearning for the loved one during separation so maybe that was a big reason. Even with Hospital Playlist it was decent.

The biggest fuck up of this drama is lack of depth when it comes to the antagonist plus Yoon Seung Ho's lack of acting range.

They should have spent time and delved more into the relation between him and his mom plus his backstory on his first kill and how he became more and more deranged. I don't need a sad story of a neglected kid finding solace in killings but more of a psychotic kid who was simply born this way.

Also when it comes to the actor, Having Seong Won at times remove his mask of sanity and reveal his true self for example when he visited Isoo in prison or when meeting Hyera, I would have enjoyed watching him change his body demeanor, the way he talks, his eyes to reveal the hidden chaos and darkness something he fails to do. Maybe they want to show a hollow, calm and cold serial killer but it's just the acting that really doesn't do justice to that too.

Here comes the biggest shitshow of this drama. The one thing that I loved about the novel was how the relation between the leads progressed and how they both were there for one another during the tough times. There was no unnecessary breakup something the drama forcefully added for no reason. They literally turn FL's character into a coward who at the very first instance of trouble turned her back towards the man who literally was there during her toughest times both professionally and personally. I do get she loves flying and how hard she has worked for it but instead of trusting her partner and herself, she simply dumps the man out of nowhere. Even when the whole mess is solved and knowing she screwed up and hurt the person who loved her, she still doesn't take a single step to mend things other than giving a bullshit emotional speech and simply moves on while he is the one making all the sacrifices and taking steps towards her. They literally made FL just like her mother. Even before this shitshow during their entire relation arc it was clear it was the guy who was head over heels while she was the one taking everything for granted.


FL and her broken relationship with her mom was a big part of novel and her character development something this drama fucked again. FL resents her mom for abandoning them and moving on with her new family. While some of the resentment was born from a misunderstanding where as a kid ,FL thought she was cheating with but it turns out he was only her manager and it is cleared by the end something FL does apologize for but the main thing was in the story her mother never once accepted FL as her daughter in front of others and behaved like strangers while showering love on her step daughter. She was never there in the past after FL's dad died leaving FL struggling for herself and her dreams while the mother was busy with her new marriage. By the end FL makes it clear that while she is wrong for thinking her mom cheated, she can't forgive the fact her mother was never there for her all her life while she was poor and struggling and now that FL has everything she wants, be it money or a loving boyfriend it is too late to make amends. She makes it clear she will be her daughter but only in the name and wants nothing more to do with her and rightfully so. All the confrontations that happened between them were so beautifully done.

While this drama goes the full cliche forgive the selfish parents no matter how horrible they were just for the sake of happy ending. The whole reunion between them literally had me facepalming but then again they did turn FL' character into a selfish coward just like her mom so wonder she forgave her mother and was all lovey dovey. I literally skipped through the last eps since looking at it made my blood boil.

Absolutely fucked the ending and characters and ruined the whole vibe.

It's already clear they are altering the last episodes from the novel and I have a bad feeling we will get the whole mother daughter making up with each other instead of how it went in the novel which I loved.

FL making it clear to her mom that although she was wrong for thinking her mother was having an affair back then but she still can't forgive the fact her mother was absent for most part of her life when she was struggling , while her mother was devoting herself to another family and now that FL has everything be it money and a loving boyfriend she doesn't need her anymore nor is interested in making amends. She will always be her mother but only cuz she gave birth to her but all this love and care she is showing now is pointless. That for me was the best thing about FL.

Its funny how different the novels are from the dramas when it comes to the leads making love. The the way these novels write the entire thing with every detail exuding pleasure plus the aftermath is crazy sensual while the same scene is in the drama is shown as the leads initiating kisses, at max the guy taking his shirt off and boom the camera moves away.

Then again their censor board will go bonkers if all that stuff was added to the dramas plus there isn't exactly a need for a full sex scene to show off leads chemistry.

So what about the mother treating her daughter like a stranger in front of everyone, why hide she is her real daughter.

If they do pull something like this off without making it totally absurd then yeah it will be good otherwise he is just a lame antagonist.

I absolutely loved ML's mom interactions with FL....finally she can have a mother figure who actually adores her.

As much as I love this season, these last 2 eps were totally predictable and also the way they handled it was kind of dumb. They literally broadcasted a murder video on a big screen in front of the kids for no reason when they could have simply go in and arrest her on stage.

I am still not sold out on Yoo Seung Ho being a serial killer and this for me is the biggest let down this season. He might be a great actor but damn he sucks in portraying a double faced cold psychotic killer and the lack of buildup only made it worse.

I love how ML's mom hates FL's selfish mother and wants nothing to do with her while looking at the teasers she pretty much adores FL after meeting her.

The last thing i want to see is the daughter reconciling with her mom who pretty much abandoned her for her new family just for the sake of happy ending cuz that is exactly how dramas like these end and it makes my blood boil.

It should be like First Frost where FL chooses to finally cut all ties with her selfish mother and move on.

Yoon Seung Ho playing this calm and collected serial killer putting up a facade is nice so far but doesn't actually give me the creeps and chills one expects to feel from such an antagonist. I hope they show off his psychotic and deranged side well.

Well the theories given were true and well they didn't really make him too deranged to kill his brother but still he deserves the fate coming to him.

That is a good theory and probably the most twisted and plausible one. He had his brother drugged and shifted him to casket of fire..... doing this to escape the mobs, otherwise why would they even show the whole legs twitching by the paralyzed guy.

I think all four of them will go to save their daughters and it will be one messy and hilarious showdown with one more dead body.

What's with the low rating, this show is a freaking goldmine of humour + thrill.

It started quite good and un but got boring by the end.
