Agree that she doesn’t marry the ML to climb the social ladder. She even rejected his offer to smoothen her career at the workplace. The ML gives her the attention and care she’s been craving to get from her family. The scene when the ML brought her to hospital and stayed with her when she fainted was her turning point to see the ML as a love interest.

I find it funny how we’re all anxious for XY whenever her lies are about to get discovered.
We can’t help but feel sorry for her despite knowing what she does is wrong. The girl went through a lot in life for such a young age. And she’s not treated fairly at work too. We’re all rooting for her to break free, find happiness and to be able to provide better life for her grandma.

I’m not familiar with the uni name. I was too lazy to do research when they mentioned about it. I thought the uni was a fictional one. It turned out it’s a real one. 😂😂😂

Now it has ended. The best things about this drama are the actors, acting, friendships between the Zhenzou brothers, and the fighting scenes. Cheng Yi was insanely good in them!

The not so good things about this drama are mainly the directing, editing and writing. They’re confusing and provided bad watching experience.

From their dialogues in the pool, I got that Hao Ming might have been the lover of her sister, it seems. The sister might have been dead though.

Yeah. I was shocked to see her even skinnier. She lost so much weight in this one. This was filmed before she shared about her mistreatment and mental health issues. I guess she’s been struggling since before this drama was filmed.

I knew it! He has her in surveillance. Also, he somehow has been helping her get out of difficult situations whenever her lies almost got discovered.
Now I wonder what’s his motive for marrying her is despite knowing the deception. I could only think two reasons: 1. He’s gay 2. He himself has past traumas. It looks like he might have had some sort of relationship with Fang Lei’s sister. And her sister might have died from drowning.

Same here. He’s been having her under surveillance. He‘s hard to read. Idk what’s his motive is. He somehow helped Xu Yan get out difficult situations caused by her lies.

I had to pause when she’s about to introduce her classmate‘s parents (the real Mr. Xu and Mrs. Xu) to her husband and his family. Idk what another lie she’s going to come up with. I actually feared for Xu Yan every time her lies almost got exposed. 🫣🫣 At the same time I wanted her to come clean, at least with Haoming.
Btw ZLS lost a lot of weight here. 😟😟

It’s just hard to believe that someone would kill their own parents under such circumstances. The parents don’t deserve such betrayal. I wanted to give Kaiyan the benefit of the doubt. Maybe the original Kaiyan has died and that’s actually LN who’s using Kaiyan’s face.

Based on the flashbacks, the Xiao family seemingly was a happy family. All the sons seemed to have been treated well since childhood. The parents were great people. Damn, they even adopted a girl and treated her like their own.
It’s incomprehensible why both Yiren and Kaiyan turned out so bad.

Yeah I feel the same. I used to feel pity for him. But after today’s episode, he’s downright annoying and in denial mode. Not a fan of his character.

I have just recently started this. The dialogue between LTY and SMJ below made me squealed.
LTY: Have ever entered my Soul Manor?
SMJ: Yes…..Often.

Arrghhhh….I believe their conversation has a hidden meaning..As cultivation partners, they also have sexual relationships, right? 😏

The story has started picking up now. I’m rooting for XCS to kick some asses.
LCZ doesn’t seem that too bad of a guy. The bad ones are the definitely the lackeys. What’s his deal?

I’m sorry to the actor but he either needs a better script or improves his acting skills or both. He looks like he’s constipated all the time.

Ikr!! I was rolling eyes the entire time to the point that I couldn’t focus on the pain that QCS’s going through.

These few episodes are so painful to watch. Not only because of XQS’s tragic life but also I feel like the direction is confusing and the script doesn’t make sense.
1. They introduced new powerful characters and then they killed them off within the same episode. What even stranger, the characters just died because they were tricked in a weirdest way possible. It doesn’t make sense how those supposedly wise and powerful people were easily tricked. Even the dialogues between those two martial arts masters sounded forced!
2. They concluded that the parents have died by just a pendant. No even a single scene where they showed the parents’s bodies. And, suddenly we have a tomb! This makes the supposedly smart characters look dumb!
3. QCS’s friends were just standing there, not moving, while witnessing him getting beaten by his bros. It’s so OOC especially for Tang Fang.

Etc etc.

I have never ranted this much because of a drama. Tsk tsk tsk.
