I believe all actors enjoyed their time, as one can see from behind the scenes, and YY and ZL had great chemistry all around. They are confortable with each other, they laugh and they play - and we, who enjoy their work, should support the drama and cooperate as well for their success.
Maybe some develop obsessions with their idol / or imaginary couple and in their jealousy try to harm others - whithout considering they are destroying the work of his idol, too..
I really love this drama, and consider this couple as best because of the natural feel of their love, it doesn't look fake or " acted". Others may prefer a different combinstion, according to their taste - anf that's ok ☺️

So thoughtfull they have the English translation of the novel also , thank you ! I have just re-watched the drama on Netflix, bliss ❤ Now going to read again the novel, and use my imaginstion with the actors in the drama to play the complete story ... Sigh 🥰

During the long break, I ff The long ballad...Funny how Lusi's role was a perfect well mannered princess, abd those manners were met with ridicule and laughter by the commoners / girls she was working with... When in Rome, do what Romans do 😆

Yes, same here - decided to watch during the 4 days break of Love like the galaxy ( since Wu Lei and Zhao Lusi are in both).. Beautiful visuals ( Wu Lei 's mask abd costume were gorgeous !), but there is no passion in politics or in romance. .Women in male role wearing lipstick, not convincing..Leo Wu still has a teenage face here, and really couldn't see him with Reba..The famous scene where Ashile Sun and Hao Du exchange the princesses - I think we all had a revelation of how the couples should have been matched !!! In the end, I just ff to watch princess Leyan and Haofu moments, as that romance at leadt was not cringey..

It's " light" political stuff, actually : 2 contenders Huan Chao and Lanxi fight for the emperor title. Additional palace fights between Lanxi and Quuen Baili & son. These plots give the thrills, abd the romance is connected initially to pugilistic world before being swept into the royal level.
Nice to see how they interact as martial artists, which gives more freedom of interaction, compared to rigid palacr rules 😉

That's because 3rd prince is not married, and I guess in the same " frozen" status like Ling Buyi before he met SS.

They are in each episode, and we are all rooting for them to get together.. he saves her again and again, and burns for her, and she does not get it because she was love deprived all her life..
