can anyone recommend me their fav chinese romance?
Meet Yourself, Amidst A Snowstorm of Love, Love Like The Galaxy Pt 1 & 2, The Double (it has, in my opinion, just enough romance. Not a ton, but an amazing drama!! I really wanted to include it!), When I Fly Towards You, and Love Me, Love My Voice. (Also, Hidden Love, but clearly you're already aware of this drama 😁.)
Where is your proof? You’re dtm lol let people have their opinions instead of trying to start drama
These are portions of replies that I've made to others you can see above.
It is fair to critique something and even to criticize to some degree. What I don't agree with though, is when a criticism of a drama becomes a criticism of its watchers. Comments that imply or outright state that if you like the drama then you're clearly an idiot, and so on. Or comments that tell someone who hasn't watched the drama that they won't like it and it's terrible, without having any clue if that would be true for a potential watcher or not.
I agree that no one should be calling anybody idiots, or similarly insulting on either side. The rude people (who are enjoying or disliking LR), and potential bot people/person if they exist, are I believe only a few. It's usually a loud minority of people that come off so intensely and which risk giving those around them a bad name.
I think it's much more reasonable to make comments such as: It's a polarizing show, in a popular genre. Many people…

I watched some shows in the 7 ratings, if I recall correctly, and enjoyed them. For those though, in my personal rankings, they would be rated higher than their average scores.
However these dramas for me are the exceptions to what I usually have found to be a fairly consistent threshold of watchability for myself.
Yeah, there are some people obsessed with stirring the pot here. 🤷♀️ I added one of them as my second…
Exactly.
For the popular and highly rated dramas I've watched but don't vibe with, I take it as just that, not my vibe.
Just becuase a drama doesn't tickle my fancy personally, doesn't mean it's trash.

Simply because their high and mighty opinion is the only opinion that is relevant, in their minds.
Imma just come out and say it. I think it's ironic that there are commenters who actively continue to say that,…

I wish scales of rating felt more consistent too. It's hard for me to imagine that there are people who want to rank this lower than the average rating for YLAG (iykyk), but hey if that's how they genuinely feel I don't think we'll be able to agree. Let's agree to disagree.
I try to adjust my ratings to reflect accurately to what I feel MDL ratings scores reflect though. So maybe such ratings come off as overly harsh to me.
(Though there are always exceptions) I have generally found that an 8.1 rating is for when something that is only watchable by a close shave. 8.3 is watchable, 8.4 - 8.5 is where it gets good. Anything above that has potential to be a top tier drama.
I think it would be fun to hear other people's personal rating scales too, if they'd like to share.
Imma just come out and say it. I think it's ironic that there are commenters who actively continue to say that, essentially, the people who liked this enough to give it a good rating are all basically bots.
Meanwhile, almost every comment made like this (or of a simalar nature, expressing dislike) will consistently have between 30-50 likes. I want to point out that this is an anomaly. For popular, currently airing dramas, what I normally consider to be a high amount of likes for a comment is around 21 likes. Even seeing ones with likes in the higher 20s isn't frequent.
Are they accusing others of behavior they do themselves? I can't help but wonder. Or maybe a set group of people are coming back here almost daily to heart these comments? Even as someone who enjoyed the drama though, being concerned with what people think of a singular show so regularly sounds exausting.
The idea of MDL bots existing never even occurred to me, till it was continually brought up so much by these commenters. It's interesting that the idea of bots is so consistently at top of mind for such commenters, no?
I'll be the CEO of internally counting down the days till the drama airs, once we actually have a release year and date.
Let me know with a relpy comment (please). If I don't happen to be early, in hearing any of this drama's news. Once the time for all that finally comes.
Stumbled upon PJH when I had no idea how popular he was. He's one of those actors who's emotional scenes always get to me. I love when I get to look forward to the dramas of an actor who helps create scenes like that.
And Ryeoun from Twinkling Watermelon!
Two kings of kdrama bromance. I'm so looking forward to this!
