Seriously, aahhh! I need this season to have come out yesterday already! I can't wait, but also I'm not ready! The sooner it comes out, the sooner it's all over too. T_T Still wishing it was here now though.
which one should I watch lovely runner or queen of tears?? I'm confused between both as all 4 actors are my fav…
Watch each one. People love to both hate and hype on them both, but I really had fun with them. They have different vibes. Maybe watch the trailers to see what you would like to watch first?
What if Won Bin is the fraternal twin of the ML? Didn't he mention how people say they look alike when they were introduced?
Maybe this was included as a reflection/foreshadowing of their bio relationship?
He also seems interested in hanging around the FL which is sus. Though the ML keeps running interference haha.
I haven't been following the plot super well b/c I've been tired lately, so I could be off base tho. Y'all can let me me know if I've missed something obvious. 😁
My goodness, SH's mom! Seriously can't stand her character. She is the exact type that gets under my skin.
She treats everyone atrociously while simultaneously acting as though she is a victim. And not just a victim, the victim. Apparently, she's the only one who ever suffers anything in life, and everyone is just out to be mean to her and make her suffer. 🙄
The way she tried to act like she was some saint of forgiveness, after abusing her son with blame while ignoring her own negligence as a parent. Ha, if she really felt bad about her daughters death (instead of making it an "oh poor me, pity me situation") she would never have purposefully abandoned her son like that too.
And then she comes back to him on her high horse when she decided she wanted him as her servant likely for emotional labor, babysitting, bragging about, and for having a power play over and whatever else.
Meanwhile people are out there dedicating their lives to being there for her, and she can't even seem to manage a "thank you". Truly vile and pathetic. Such disgusting behavior.
Sanha's mom's character makes me want to jump inside the screen and beat her into a pulp. Oh god

I feel like min gi is using Gong hui to his ex jealous, for Dan su he is pretending to be stupid
To make his ex jealous, and I think his ego enjoys how the FL is obvious about practically worshipping the ground he walks on. Ahh it's so frustrating to watch.
the FLs mother is a NO for my eyes and ears .... i always skip her scenes ....
Me too. I don't want to cause myself to suffer unneccissarily. The character grates on my ears and she always has the same tiresome flare/friend face on when she isn't crying about her mother and how unfair life is.
Hot take, but I agree. I don't think every hot, modern drama needs to be shortened down to 12 episodes. I've seen this specific number so many times, with this being what people often say they ought to be. And that everything would be better if it were shortened.
I've seen several shorter dramas that felt like they dragged on forever and longer dramas where I wished I had more. I've seen some "mini" dramas I've loved, and longer ones that had me cringing.
It really does depend on the quality of the drama (IMO). And the story you're looking to tell. I don't think we should be looking for a one size fits all number, as an indicator of a good drama. Shorter episodes doesn't mean you'll get a good drama.
It's all about knowing what content to show. You can get short dramas where they focus on uninteresting content without knowing what to skip. And sometimes they do the same in longer ones. In either one, you can have it where the audience would have loved to see more depth delved into on a particular element of the story (even if it meant more episodes), for things that only got to be shown on a surface level.
So many times, when there is an obvious issue, the problem is the overall pacing (and/or focus) of the drama. With the middle being too slow, and the ending being too rushed or abrupt feeling (and potentially leaving many loose ends). Or there can be an interesting part of the story to be told that's right there, but which isn't acknowledged, with too much repetition in other areas of the drama.
I think well-paced and focused, versus specifically sized dramas should what we look for and applaud, if we're going for generalized "rules" I don't think you can go wrong with this. A drama like this would know when the story had appropriately and satisfyingly been told.
I'm watching this with growing mixed feelings. But one doubt, can anyone clear? If I'm Sol can stop time, why…
Speaking from personal experience in certain intensely stressful and/or fearful situations I sometimes lose my sense of logic. I don't always have the ability to remember and think through helpful details and can only can rely on my instinct. Also I have had times where my body just freezes at such times. When you are so paralyzed by shock and fear sometimes it's like you can't even control your mouth to let out a shout (let alone do anything else) and it is like you are trapped with no control.
First love hits differently. It's been 15 years since my first love ended, but if he turned up tomorrow in front…
I don't think it has to be the first relationship for you to consider it your first love.
If it was the first person I had given my heart to so fully, trusted and been vulnerable with as much, and loved so deeply then I might consider that my first love. Versus say, a potential "first crush" type of relationship. One where one could say they liked the person, it hurt to be broken up with but not that they were losing someone they loved.
Maybe this was included as a reflection/foreshadowing of their bio relationship?
