Great acting and direction

This drama really sets of the hearts of Xianxia lovers. This drama has a great storyline and good direction. This production values, artistry and beauty is sick as expected from high valued drama. Yes, it does give the Love and Redemption/Ashes of Love vibe, but that is a positive as those dramas had amazing storyline and production value. The acting really wins it for this drama as the facial expression and emotions are so well displaced. The emotions feels so realistic that you don't feel like it's acting and that is why you will definitely cry every time they cry as well. I hear people complain about the the CGI, but it is definitely good enough as it still sets off the beautiful Xianxia world. Did Journey to the West use great CGI work? Did any of the past great dramas need great CGI work to keep us engaged?
