The scene worked well in the novel since he was a playboy in that. However, since Lu XiXiao is not a playboy here, it just doesn't work with the whole yearning, pining thing he has going for him.

I really don't understand why Jiang Yan is working for his dad. He wanted to be successful without the Lu influence, so why apply there? Then there's the whole 'second choice to Lu XiXiao'. I just don't get it. It feels like a voluntary humiliation ritual.

Hopefully that's the last we see her, I can't stand her.

I think we need to be realistic here. His only grandson was stabbed because of what happenned with Zhou Wan. It makes sense he wants Zhou Wan to leave so that he can protect he only grandson from future harm. Unlike Lu XiXiao's dad, his grandfather truly loves him and wants the best for him. You could tell the grandfather also feels bad and pity for Zhou Wan giving the couple a few more days together before they need to leave.

I think GMMtv has finally perfected their formula for slice-of-life, coming-of-age stories. This is perhaps the best one they have produced! As long as the next half carries on with this quality, this will be one of my top shows for the year.

The only thing I'm a bit disappointed in is that i couldn't watch the drama adaptation of the twin sister volleyball bullying case lie it was in the manhwa. Probably because it was heavily based on an actual case but still, would have loved to see the adaptation.

Jin Ki Joo running in her flashback reminds me so much of her intensive running in Midnight.
