As if the ratings mean anything😂😂 The show got the clout it wanted, that is have many people watching it. That is why they are renewing for the next season.
Now if everyone who gave a low rating suddenly decides to drop it next season, then the ratings would have an impact. And the show might get discontinued or cancelled.
Otherwise, people didn't like S3 but still went on to watch this.
And even though S4 wasn't popular, it is the most watched (top 10) non-English shows in Netflix.

You can look it up on the reddit discussion forums on the show. I wouldn't say there is evidence per se though. They were just caught during dates by the public. So the K netizens already knew they were end couple. The show was kinda spoiled already before the finale.

In my view, Taehwan was really annoying from the show. But I like how the panelist, Jung Han Hae, didn't just correct his behavior, but also kind of resonated with him to try to reduce the hate he may receive as a result of the show. He tries to show that he might actually change.
So, let's criticize with the aim to correct. You could be like Jun Seo, I like your straightforwardness and honesty but dude you really need to learn how to talk or interact with people.
He did say that that is something he has long struggled with since he was discharged from the military. It felt like a new world and felt more like an outsider and couldn't get along with everyone.
