As someone who knows many people who have stayed in toxic relationships, I can vouch that in the real world people do and will stay in horrible relationships for a multitude of complex reasons. It’s sad and really difficult to watch when it’s someone you care about, but there’s only so much other people can do about the decisions people make for themselves.
What was with that ending? It just felt really short.. I think it needs 4 more episodes…
I think it made sense to end it where it did. It was a relatively short and sweet show and told the story in the way it needed to. "Youth" is a long chapter in our lives that won't end for these characters for a while, and I viewed this a short window of time into the part where they grow more comfortable with who they are and find First Love.
I love a good fluffy bl but I prefer to marathon it. So i'll probably wait till just before the last ep of this…
