Painting by numbers
Korea seem to have two formula's for a BL drama, there is the silly fluff story or the angst ridden melodrama.
This one follows the melodrama formula, everything is exaggerated until nothing really makes any sense. If you have watched a few Korean BL's before then you know the formula,
Episodes 1-4 convoluted beginning and storyline
Episode 5-6 they find love
Episode 7 the angst ridden episode with problem/break up
Episode 8 they remember how to communicate and it all ends happy.
At first I was happy with Korean BL, they added more depth to their stories, but now it's just the same old formula over and over again.
The other problem I have with them is they are rather depressing, a drama needs some up's and down's but there are more down's than up's
