in the end I think the story was not bad and FL's journey into the world of sport and box is really inspiring. on the other side we have ML's story where he's self sabotaging his own life because of his past trauma. and their romance is the thing that connects these two worlds.
in my opinion they mixed too much in one drama, I'd rather focus on something one but they should've made it more profound. like in the last episodes I got interested in the story between Kairi and Satoru but we didn't get much of them unfortunately.
from the positive side maybe because there're a lot of everything going on in this drama, that's why it doesn't have boring moments

These teachers are devils😭they were making fun of her when she's already so embarrassed. But the situation in the hospital was pretty funny and I actually suspected what her condition was cuz many years ago one of my classmate had the same situation.
Also I'm curious how the situation with Ji-a will resolve. Her character is a mystery for me now.

ML always says "it's not your business" and he doesn't explain anything to FL and when she's angry at him(what is justified cuz he acts like a jerk every time) he just takes it and explains nothing.. do they want us to think that he's such a good boy who is never wrong and everything he does has reasons, that he just has a sad backstory? I hate when they try to make FL a fool or show her in a bad light when she scolds ML. because she is not wrong at all and drama makes it look he is a sufferer and tries to justify all his bad deeds.

This drama has a few good scenes but in general I didn't enjoy it. Everyone here is praising SML but I actually liked ML more, he was sweet and flirty, and he is traumatised by his ex. FL was not so bad but I didn't like her even though I'm a fan of strong female characters.
Ichika is very strong. I was glad to see this kind of female lead in the drama. And I believe she'll have a bright future. Can't say the same thing about Maki cuz he felt a bit immature compared to Ichika. And I don't believe in a long-distance relationship unfortunately... So if we still get season 2, I hope they'll show Maki's character growth.
The best moment in this drama for me is the last 10 minutes of the show, when they're at the beach. Ichiko's speech is very inspiring!
At first glance this drama seems perfect... stunning cinematography, beautiful actors and flawless story. But at the same time I feel nothing watching them. I see ML's struggles and the story makes me understand him but I don't feel sorry for him. The same with FL, I don't feel her pain.

(it reminded me of Your name in some sense..) The characters were saying how much they love each other so I was hoping for more emotional reunion.

What a beautiful story! I didn't expect to like it so much, but a few minutes into the drama I was intrigued. Akane as a FL was so relatable and precious to me. A girl who always tries to be nice, who is scared to show her true feelings or say something wrong not to offend anyone. I love how her character was portrayed.
Usually people don't understand conditions like that, so they can feel annoyed and think what's so difficult to say what you want to say. That's what happened to ML. He was irritated by her at first and I'll tell you I'm such a sucker for stories like this..
One of my fav moments is when Seiji was rude to her but when he noticed Akane was feeling unwell, his expression changed. He was worried for her and helped her immediately. I kinda undersatnd he was acting up and pushing her buttons to make her state better, but those scenes hurt me. People can't be changed that easily. Well, I think when they started to hang out more he started to understand her better.
And of course I can't not to mention the way Seiji looks at Akane😭 AAAAA he's such a seducer oh my gosh!
The ending was nice. Can we call it an open ending? Honestly I want to see more of them, I want to know how their lives will unfold from now on. But maybe that's the beauty of it.
