Why would they? 1 simple answer is to leave it to the viewers imagination. And that’s what it’s actually doing, some ppl thinks he kissed it and it crumbled, you think bite and I think mind, so there you go, it was only her hand so it really doesn’t matter because we already know he’s the strongest man in Daeho🔮

And my final 3 wishes are to get more details about Cho Yeong’s past and also full explanation on the all the important things relating to the story that wasn’t fully explained and finally a satisfying end for everyone.🌸

On a serious note though, I can’t seem to find a valid answer as I’ve never thought about these specific details since part 2 started and tbh now I can’t even think of a good reason why. Maybe take off the spoiler tag or re ask maybe someone will give a good reasoning on this but I’m foggy with this one atm.🌸
So I’m thinking maybe because the body and Naksu’s energy were different and her energy got suppressed, these abilities came randomly and not often to keep the balance. Now that her own energy has rebuilt the body she’s able to use it more as there’s less chances for the souls energy and the body to clash , Master Lee said with her memories returns she will gain more power as well so at the moment she can see energy but she’s not able to casts spells etc but will change in time to match with the rate of her memories. I’m just guessing and it might not make much sense or answer your question.
