That’s not entirely true After Seo yul saved her from the thugs that she swindled, She was Kidnapped and held in a barrel in the secret room with other blind girls. Whilst in the barrel she heard Jin Mu killed everyone of those girls because they didn’t fit the description of Buyeon pic.Jin Mu got to her realising she could be used but then discovered she wasn’t blind , would you have willingly give up your life or would have agreed to pretend to be someone else to save your life? I would do exactly as she did. Only the Thugs and the merchant knew her and they weren’t innocent people. The ladies on the boat were probably innocent people but she actually didn’t know they we’re going to kill them if you rewatch you could tell she was shocked and it wasn’t her intention to get them killed, Jin mu and his cronies asked her to point out all the people who knew her face they did not tell her her they we’re going to murder them. Another thing is for the first time in her life she was going to get the experience of having a family even though it’s fake, she was going to have the experience non the less, remember how that dude told her people like her( a nobody more or less) shouldn’t even look at yul?
Then the ice stone incident that she actually interrupted, turned out to be what actually saved people’s lives because The shaman queen was going to shift bodies take over Jinyowon so in the end it was her doings why Jang Uk ended up with the ice stone, as I’ve said she’s made bad decisions or choices but she done them out of survival instincts or better yet survival instincts that she was sadly only familiar with.

How do we know they’re not talking about the scene at the tombstone? That scene was so freaking heart wrenching to watch, I’m pretty sure with all the emotions they had to put In would’ve broken them irl too. It could be anything. Now straight to business I agree with a lot of the things you’ve said but I must also remind you that the bickering between Jang Uk and Mudeok had died down a whole lot after leaving The mountains, they had a couple back and forth but not much , in fact if I really think about it I can even tell you them and it’s probably not more than 3 times after that. I also must disagree with you on the FL character development and how change is not necessarily going backwards especially if you look at the nature of this particular story and I’ll explain.
The FL Cho Yeong/ Naksu opened the current timeline ( now previous as its now 3 years later) she’s an assassin on a mission to avenge her father who was killed by the 4 major families in Darho , shit happened she soul shifted blah blah blah( you already know that story) ok so she’s in hiding inside another body and whilst doing so she ends up with the offspring’s of that same family but she has no power and she then learns that all her life she only had one goal which turned out to be a lie as she was manipulated, she’s now gained strong friendships with these families etc, obviously her goal is abandoned so there’s no need for her to fight and more importantly she’s still in a weak body…… skip to part 2 she lost her memories she has no fighting power so far and tbh who is she suppose to fight at this time? Her only enemy at the moment is Jin Mu but he’s also almost everyone’s enemy yet no one is fighting him, Why?
It’s actually good character development to show a sincere kind side to the character, if she goes around killing for revenge do you actually think she’d be accepted? If she kills Jin Mu the people of Daeho will need to agree that it’s justified especially because she has a bad reputation already, she’d have to constantly be in hiding not associating with people etc and that’s not development that’s a stagnant stage.🌸 Hope you’ll stick around to share more of your views🔮

I don’t believe She’s a bad person , I believe she’s made bad choices and I’ve been keeping my eye on her for awhile as I said she’s the one that’s going to push the story regarding Buyeon, I saw it from a mile. So Yi got the arc of a typical orphan, growing up rough and adapting survival skills to get by, no one in this series is completely pure, it’s sad she didn’t get the opportunity to be loved and cared for properly before, I truly hope this is not her end.🌸
I also think some elements are a bit farfetched with no logical link so far. I do not understand how the Queen…
The queen and Jin Mu intentions aligns perfectly because the queen is desperate to get out the body she’s in since we met her and the only way is through soul shifting which requires the ice stone Which has everything to do with Jin Mu’s original ultimate intention’s which was always to be in control of Jinyowon as he believes he has rights to it and was denied because he’s a bastard child. So The Queen and Jin Mu chasing the same thing isn’t far fetched at all.
As for So-Yi she knows this girl is not Jin Buyeon because she knows Jin Buyeon in person, She also knows that Naksu’s soul was inside Jin Buyeon’s body and she supposedly died so I guess it’s not rocket science and I don’t actually believe So-Yi is 100% sure , I think she took a wild guess and turns out she’s right based on HoGyeong’s reaction.
I agree Buyeon/Naksu’s and Jang Uk storyline is a bit weak and draining as it’s supposed to be the catalyst of the show, and it seems he knows now so hopefully he’ll get concrete evidence early in the episode tomorrow and not at the end which I firmly believe will be the case.
