At first, TPOB was ahead of Zang Hai on my list but in the end, Zang Hai stood out. TPOB is a pop drama unlike Zang Hai which is a serious drama.

My verdict: Zang Hai is a masterpiece. TPOB will never be able to stand up against LoZH. TPOB is too bland for me. At first, I kind of enjoyed it but in the end, the comedy side of the drama overkilled the drama.

Qu Jian suddenly died in Episode 8.

I think he was murdered by the Marquis because of the complaints from the ministers to the Emperor.

I am hoping for Season 2 if they wish to continue with the story!

When Zang Hai cried, I cried with him. Thank god I live on my own Otherwise, embarrassing.
