The Starry Love has a smaller cast and less known actors except CXX. I find it entertaining but is definitely overshadowed by this series.

TSL cannot match this series at all in terms of acting and production. The former has a smaller budget, I find.

There are so many scenes in the novel that are entertaining but not all appear on the series.

Anyone who has read the novel? I find Chapter 28 hilarous ie. TTJ in disguise as a bride.

GBMP completely traumatised me. Thank God, this series has slowly overshadowed that series.

I must not repeat GBMP anymore. Imagine they were trying to shoot a Season 2 of GBMP at one point. Which viewer can endure such a mental trauma! Not me.

I am thankful to C-dramas as they keep me entertained.

The Starry Love's conflict is way too simple compared to this one. This one is just too immense.

I prefer this series to the Starry Love.

TTJ's facial expressions bring the character alive. I like TTJ's smirks.

TBH, I can't remember watching that jade scene. Focus issue.

YZW doesn't look like LSS in the novel. In the novel, LSS is the most beautiful immortal in the realm. Even the fox demons are fascinated by her beauty and are desperate to see her in person.

That's why LSS in YZW's body doesn't think YBC is as beautiful as she is.

Contract marriage between two immortals doesn't need extra conflicts. That's why MY and SJ just signed the contract without hesitation.

MY's view is if SJ falls in love with another immortal, she is free to leave him for the other chap.

No conflict no drama

Another scene in the next few episodes. SJ says she is willing to learn about what MY does including practising war weapons so that she will be able to help MY in his battles.

That's how MY falls in love with SJ.

MY is actually attracted to SJ during the journey to the Heaven on their wedding day. I think he likes her innocence unlike the another female immortal.

The translated novel actually uses the Google translation so the grammatical errors and confusion are immense.

The series are not as good as the animation. It's about a modern couple going through a divorce and both share the rights of the Liang Bu Yi animation.

So, it's got both modern and ancient scenes although the modern scne usually takes up to five minutes only.

The male lead's acting is better than the female lead, I find.
