Like Beyond Goodbye, First Love: Hatsukoi tells a story of lost love and regrets in life. Let's see how Beyond Goodbye will make us cry.

They aren't really similar aside from having deep conversations among friends. The life lessons are different but the feels I got from watching these dramas were the same.

A film with the same director and FL. Like 18×2, The Brightest Roof in the Universe also shows the beauty of life and experiencing it with someone for a short period of time.

These two have nothing in common aside from the tone. If you want to watch something happy after getting emotional in 18×2, I would recommend Hold My Hand at Twilight.

Both are lead by the great Kaya Kiyohara. In this series, the male character also faces life challenges. The female lead, on the other hand, will serve as inspiration to him. It's sweet and light, but will also come with some drama.

Both the female leads are good at painting. Both are tearjerker films. That's all I can say to avoid spoiler. Happy watching ?

A drama with the same ML together with Suzu Hirose. It doesn't include any terminal illness. But just like as Drawing Closer, it shows how someone can find a new purpose and meaning in life by a fateful encounter.

How could I forget my first jdrama and the reason why I'm a fan of this kind of films. If you cried a cup of tears in Drawing Closer, then be ready for a liter of tears here.

Haha ni Naru is about a mother who's her child was kidnaped. Mother is about a teacher who kidnaped her student and acted as her new mother.

Both are my favorite family doramas. The story and message are different but the feelings I got in both were the same.

Japan is really great in making this type of story. No time will be wasted with watching them.

Both have a singer male lead and a deaf female lead. If you like to watch something feel good again after TW, FS is definitely the best option. It also made a sensitive approach towards disabilities.

Part of living is being lost and confused. But these films both tell us that it is okay. We will find something or someone that will help us get up with our feet. Something or someone that will help us find our purpose.
