We got 12 stillcuts just in one day!! And they literally meet just for fans!! And we got 2 stills of 23.5. Damn…

Ep2 aired an hour lateCan somebody change the time here?
The time displayed on mdl is the time that the episode premiers, usually on network television. It's not based on the YouTube release time as that's usually delayed.
I watched episode 1 through 5 while this was airing but got too distracted with other series to watch the finale... I was also secretly hoping for eng subs that would never come. I plan on finishing episode 6 soon since I really did like this series despite the lack of subtitles after episode 3.
It was a light, funny and entertaining show with an interesting premise; if you're up for putting your thai listening skills to the test. The subtitle fiasco was frustrating, I was there in real time watching it all happen and was even there waiting for ep1 to premiere. However, this show did great for what it was, it's enjoyable and of good quality especially for being from a small company! I really liked TopJuju's chemistry. This show totally does not deserve the rating that it currently has and I really find it unacceptable for so many people to collectively shit on this show just because they were pissed that there wasn't any English subtitles. It was totally a frustrating experience but that doesn't mean you can act entitled and review bomb a production- that people worked really hard on- just because they don't cater to you. You've gotta remember that these series are made for the thai fans that live and reside in Thailand. They try to add subtitles and English promotional materials to let us international fans also enjoy their work. They're welcoming us into their space.
Anyways, I was really embarrassed by how so many people reacted to the production company having unforeseen difficulties regarding subs. Rant over. (For anyone wondering, only ep 1-3 have english subtitles. Episodes 4-6 do not have them.)
I'm sorry I'm confused. Did Warang tell me whole school about their sleepover? I swear I only saw her tell Prang,…
Actually that would make a lot more sense as to why everyone's reactions were so shocked and disappointed in Warang. Maybe I just missed that or they sped past it.
Sigh. Sadly that's how it is. LML and LS needs to switch views. No shade
Well I mean it's never too late to get more views! There just needs to be more awareness towards the series and with a company like Starhunter Entertainment I'm frankly surprised that there isn't more.
I kinda disagree with that statement; there's enough seats at the table for everyone. They both deserve more exposure because as GAP has shown, there is definitely an audience out there for it. I just don't really see that much promotional material for either of the series.
I don't want ViewJune to accept this because this writer mostly wrote Toxic, Violence, cheating, sexual type of…
I totally agree that enough of this author's work has been chosen to be adapted; there are SO many other GL stories and novels out there that companies shouldn't exhaust all their work from one person especially if that person has written some rather toxic and disturbing content- there's lots of great GL content out there to adapt- but unfortunately, her name has all the hype right now from GAP's success and since GLs are so few and far in-between right now, this extra "hype" would just give the productions that much more of an outreach audience wise. It's a smart business decision so I definitely don't blame companies for jumping onto that bandwagon but it definitely still kinda sucks.
I doubt any company will forgo the rights they've already bought just because of the author which they'd have already known was a factor beforehand. My thing is that if GMMTV has the rights to this project, then whatever toxic or messed up tropes present will definitely be minimized because as you've implied, none of us viewers really want to see those unnecessarily gross/toxic aspects.
That being said, if it is offered and VJ get this- at this point it's just my personal hopes based on the brief MDL synopsis- then it's not really *their* fault since actors honestly don't really have much power unless they're like the top A listers of the company. Let's hope that going onwards, thai production companies feel compelled and encouraged to broaden their horizons while searching for their drama's source materials.
