No don't worry!! I love talking about dramas, that's why I'm hereπ. I mean it's ok that you don't remember ChopperBen since they'd barely had any scenes together, especially once they'd actually gotten together together lol. I'd heard that a lot of people were feeling their chemistry but unfortunately I was not. I mean they had some objectively cute scenes (I guess) but they really didn't do anything for me. The most obvious issue for me, was Chimon. From what I remember, Perth's performance was enough, it didn't necessarily stand out but Chimon, I just couldn't see him as anything but a straight guy. Like in the end, Ben on paper, was doing all of the right cues of showing interest but whatever was supposed to be there just wasn't. They didn't have romantic chemistry. Idk if you've been in the Bad Buddy comments in the past but I like to compare my thoughts on Chimon's performance to what a handful of people had thought of Nanon's (sorry Nanon for bringing you into this). A lot of people were saying that they couldn't see Pran/Nanon as a gay guy in love, unable see him as anything but a straight guy; I had absolutely no issues with his performance however I did later come to understand what they were talking about with Chimon's performance of Ben. Sailom's not as strikingly bad in that sense, he doesn't scream straight guy but he also isn't doing much in portraying the young gay romance aspect. However little there may be. To me KanghanSailom definitely reads as a bromance and strictly just that. That's as of right now though, so I really do hope they can change my mind!
I think that their coupling just isn't it for me and I do think Chimon is miscast in this BL ship. I was and am honestly still hoping to see the OhmPerth ship... I was really hoping that DR would be a fresh chance for them to show their skills as an official BL couple since they have so much more focus and screentime but unfortunately it does not seem to be working out well. I do think that if they get another ML series in 2024, I'll try to give their ship one last shot but idk my expectations for them are low βΉοΈ
i want to know if this series is completed or not??? everyone was saying it is cancelled and all πππ
Unfortunately, it's not. It has 15eps but I'd heard that it was supposed to have 20-25 episode- maybe even 30- and be longer like this sitcom genre normally is. I mean they'd wrapped it up the best they could but it did of course feel a bit rushed and incomplete in my opinion. However, it did still feel like an ending; we just wanted moreπ
IMO it will depend on your definition of "bursting" lmao
Ahhaha okay that made me giggle hehe. It's funny that you say that because this is only the second show I've seen Chimon in and I've never had an issue with that but with the cover poster of He's Coming to Me (which I haven't seen yet) I ALWAYS think Chimon is Gun!

I agree. You're not wrong about that.... However, I truthfully do hope that you end up disagreeing with my opinion and wholeheartedly enjoy this series in the ways that I couldn'tβ€οΈ
I personally didn't have an issues with Pran or Nanon's performance, I didn't see what people were taking about…
Ah my bad, sorry. I just remembered hearing that some people weren't able to believe Nanon's performance as a gay guy in love and yet I couldn't see their criticisms in BBTS. But I have come to understand that feeling unfortunately with Chimon. Well NLMG was PerthChimon's soft launch as a coupling but while it seemed like his character, on paper, was doing all of the right cues, I just couldn't buy it. Sorry Chimon...
Ok.....Sailom is just starting to remind me of Pran atp
I personally didn't have an issues with Pran or Nanon's performance, I didn't see what people were taking about but once I'd seen Chimon's portrayal of Ben in NLMG, I was like- omg now I know what they were talking about..... and unfortunately Sailom's following suit
