Oh shit that might be it... Idfk I can only pick up a bit of the thai, mostly small talk or stuff about food. So I could be completely wrong but that's how I had understood it! Since I didn't really notice/mind the lack of subtitles, I thought I'd give my take in case OP didn't know *any* thai at all lol
