The least they could have done was cast the male lead properly. He looks like a little boy and him being skinny isnt hekping either. They should have cast someone more mature looking like the ml from rebel princess or a splendid match. Heck even Wu Lei was there.

you must be new to Chinese dramas lol. Chinese dramas back in the day had little to no steamy kiss scenes. you must have just started watching new cdramas so you're used to kissing scenes
